Rich Rheiner, guitarist, was doubly blessed and wielded a
pencil at par with his musical talent. He used this
exceptional graphical ability to draw all the backdrops, the album
cover and many of the flyers which were sent to the mailing list.
The mailing list grew to about four hundred at its apex. On one
side was the calendar with the upcoming gigs. And on the other
was a short newsletter spoof by various guest writers. I think
everyone's favorite was Mario Mulligan, who
later went on to start Tongue & Cheek Press with Myster
Schubert. Which brings us back to Rich again, since he
did cover art for them.
Musically, Rich also shimmied the steel bar up and down the
Hawaiian slide guitar.
